Da Vinci wrote in his notebook "all the branches of a tree at every stage of its height when put together are equal in thickness to the trunk. Nature’s Advocate started as an idea. Nouhad was thinking, what is her role in Life…what message does she hold? Inspired by Rachel Carson and her book “silent spring”, affected heavily by the philosophy of Henry David Thoreau, motivated by the natural scenes in the different countries she visited. The idea sparked:Yes, she is a Nature’s Advocate; everybody is. She smiled and decided to start the initiative. Nature’s Advocate is a spiritual movement to go back to nature. The need to identify with nature now comes without a fee! Take a personal oath and be part of the tree. Be a Nature’s Advocate. Working for the environment has a snowball effect. Take an average baseball-sized snowball and drop it down the side of a snowy hill. Your small work today will be that big ball down the hill one day.
Let us develop and progress bearing in minds the duty for which man was made. We are part of the circle. The sun shines on earth; plants for photosynthesis use the rays. The animals feed on these plants and the cycle continues. We are part of this and we should protect and conserve each nature’s components. We are nature advocates, we have a vow toward the very seed that sprouted into our existence is nature.
"What's the use of a fine house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on?" Henry David Thoreau, "Familiar Letters"
We aim to have a tolerable planet. Everybody is born as a nature’s advocate; we work on returning to this by real doings. The advocacy for nature will be on macro and micro levels. Drags millions from the world over to work for nature balance. The movement is for individuals and organizations and any entity on this earth. Protecting and conserving nature is a duty of all. Get enlightened and be a Nature’s Advocate.
